Chevron Bralette Knitting Pattern
I was inspired to create a simple textured, geometric bralette, to be worn all year long, perhaps under a flannel shirt in the fall, or layered under a cozy sweater in the winter, as a crop top in spring over a linen dress, or with a pair of cut off shorts in the summer. I designed the chevron bralette to only require 1-2 skeins of bulky weight yarn, making it a perfect stash-buster for any extra yarn you might have leftover from a larger project. The chevron pattern that makes up the front of the bralette reminds me of the shape of a wishbone and the back the Chinese character eight (八), a number symbolizing good fortune. I hope to imbue this cozy bralette with all the positive wishes and warmth.
